Hero Glamour Engine Specifications

The Hero Glamour now features a BS6-compliant 125cc engine, which means it meets the latest emission standards set by the government for a cleaner and more efficient ride. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission, allowing for smooth and versatile gear changes. The engine generates a power output of 10.83PS, providing ample performance for daily commuting. Additionally, it produces 10.6Nm of torque, ensuring good acceleration and overall riding experience. This combination makes the Hero Glamour a reliable and eco-friendly choice for riders.

Hero Glamour Features

Hero has upgraded the Glamour with a fully digital console that displays real-time mileage, the odometer, and the speedometer. It also includes a mobile charging port for added convenience. The Glamour Xtec offers even more advanced features, such as Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps, a gear position indicator, a bank angle sensor that shuts off the engine if the bike falls, and a side-stand engine cut-off. It also comes with an LED headlight, which the standard model does not have. The bike is available in four colors: Sports Red, Tornado Grey, Techno Blue, and Radiant Red.

Hero Glamour Suspension and Brakes

The Hero Glamour has been updated with a new diamond-type frame, which is a significant improvement over its previous design. This new frame is designed to enhance the bike's overall stability and handling, making it more robust and reliable on different types of road surfaces.

The front suspension features a telescopic fork, which provides 14% more travel compared to the previous model. This means that the front fork can absorb more shocks and bumps from the road, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable ride. The rear suspension consists of twin shock absorbers, which offer 10% more travel than before. This improvement in the rear suspension also contributes to a better riding experience, especially on uneven or rough roads.

In terms of braking, the base variant of the Hero Glamour comes equipped with a 240mm disc brake at the front, providing strong and efficient stopping power. At the rear, the bike has a 130mm drum brake, which complements the front disc brake to ensure balanced and reliable braking performance.

The ground clearance of the new Hero Glamour is 180mm, which is 30mm more than the previous BS4 version. This increased ground clearance allows the bike to handle rougher terrains and obstacles more effectively, reducing the risk of damage to the underbody and improving overall ride quality.

Additionally, the bike now offers an optional front disc brake, giving riders the choice of enhanced braking performance. The rear tyre of the updated Glamour is a new 100-section tyre, which provides better grip and stability. This rear tyre is stopped using a drum brake, ensuring consistent and reliable braking performance.
